The 2015 Introductory Acarology program has been announced
For more than 50 years, the Ohio State University Acarology Summer Program has attracted scientists from dozens of nations to study and identify ticks and mites.
Presentations about the latest techniques and research keep participants coming every summer, said Hans Klompen, an associate professor of entomology at Ohio State and a program organizer.
Workshops Offered
- Introductory Acarology: 22 June - 27 June 2015
- Agricultural Acarology: 29 June - 10 July 2015
Future Workshops
By request we present a tentative workshop schedule for the next 3 years. We hope this will help everyone to plan visits. Given the observation that increasing numbers of participants register very early (and thus that workshops fill up early), we strongly recommend early registration.
